On Mission: Evangelism in the Everyday Stuff of Life
Presented by Justin Barney. Right before he went back to be with the Father, Jesus gave the Church some very clear instructions … to make disciples. These days, when we hear the word “evangelism,” we might think of an awkward conversation we need to have, a program or class we should attend, or a pamphlet we might hand out. But as we look at Jesus’ example, we see that the Good News of the gospel was proclaimed in and through the everyday stuff of life. No matter the geographical context, personality type, or spiritual gifting, join us as we explore what this can look like and how it might involve you.
Justin Barney has been part of the Vineyard for the last twelve years. In 2012, he and his family moved back to New England where they, alongside a great team, are helping to plant Praxis Church in the city of Keene, NH. Justin enjoys reading dead guys, listening to “dad rock,” and seeing people encounter Jesus in a real way. Justin is married to Danielle and has two children: Abbey (4) and Soren (2).
